3 Danish bands perform at the Glastonbury Festival



It is only about half a year ago, the Danish Balkan orchestra Tako Lakos entered the British music scene, but already has people of Copenhagen secured a room for one of the most prestigious festivals in the world.

The six men and one woman won the Danish and Scandinavian Emergenzafinals in '08, and it also succeeded in reaching the finals in '09 cannon career, prompting a concert at the Roskilde Festival and Copenhagen Jazz Festival. In 2010 they released "Kick-Start EP", and was of MTV proclaimed "one of Denmark's potentially biggest upcoming names." The orchestra has alsoappeared on the UK festivals the Big Chill on the border with Wales, and Bestivalon the Isle of Wight. It therefore seems very natural to try the step up in world classthis summer.

Tako Lakos, Analogik and Oh Land gets good opportunity to crack through to the huge British festival ofthe approximately 150,000 tickets to the world's biggest festival is already sold.The festival also offers everything from U2, Norah Jones, Snoop Dogg over to Julian Casablancas and The Stranglers to be experienced over five days in late June.
