Danish singer is playing illegally in China



The Danish singer Linkoban and her trailer was at the last minute had to change direction on their China tour by the Chinese authorities imposed the ban on the singer appeared.

She was actually invited to play at InMusic festival in China, but had shortly before told that her songs could not be approved by the Chinese censorship.

»Linkoban was invited to China by InMusic festival, and in doing so we should send 5 songs and lyrics for the Chinese Ministry of Culture. Recently we were told that only one out of five songs was approved by the Ministry. Without further explanation, "writes Linkobans manager Kettil Myrstrand.

The festival was trying to plan a 'pirate concert' with the Danish (and actually half Chinese) singer, but the authorities had put a stop to it, writes manager.

Linkoban allowed himself to be not such a turn out and played instead illegal concerts at two nightclubs in Beijing with songs from his debut EP "Super Into On It".


"I hope it will be possible, with or without the government seal of approval, to come back and do more shows. China will certainly be further explored, "said Linkoban the municipality called Ling Ly.

EP got the Chinese authorities, besides also made illegal because they had a big censur.
