Danish Volbeat is number 1 in the USA


Danish rock band has just gone number 1 on a rock airplay list in the U.S. with the song "A Warrior's Call"

Danish Volbeat has taken first place at the U.S. Active Rock Chart with the song "A Warrior's Call," which this country is best known for being the boxerMikkel Kessler intro song. The single "A Warrior's Call" is now played moreon U.S. rock radio stations than giants Foo Fighters and KoRn. See the whole chart here.

Front man Michael Poulsen said: "I am proud of that we have gone No. 1 in the U.S., also because we are the first Danes who do, and then with a songwritten for our Danish boxing champ Mikkel Kessler. We had never daredbelief that we could hit a peak with big names like Foo Fighters andNickelback - we are deeply grateful! "

Volbeat is currently on tour in the U.S. and Canada along with the legendarybands Megadeth and Motörhead. Lemmy from Motörhead invited recentlyPoulsen on stage and together they played the song "Killed By Death". Agreat experience for the Dane, who has always looked up to the famousband.
